Labor Rallies for Disappeared Workers

Not on our watch: Unions representing tens of thousands of workers rallied outside of the Northwest Detention Center in Tacoma, WA to demand the release of SEIU 925 member Lewelyn Dixon and longtime farmworker organizer Lelo Juarez, The Stand reports. Organizers call on all to write letters to Dixon’s employer, University of Washington, to run immigration trainings for all employees. Donate to Juarez’s legal defense fund here.
